Egyptian Eyes

Matching pair of large bronze framed eyes with limestone plaster insets and painted black pupils. Blue-green surface patina on the frames. 

Origin: Egypt

Manufacture Period: Late period, ca. 700-30 B.C.

Materials and Technique: Bronze and Limestone

Condition: Some black paint loss on the pupils, otherwise overall excelent condition 

Provenance: Private Pennsylvania collection, acquired 30 years ago.

Measurements: 2.5 in (7 cm) each.
