18th Century Hispano Flemish Chest, Bargueño

Ebonized wood 

It consist of three vertical bodies, two lateral ones are divided with drawers and the center one is a door with the with ormolu work representing Hecules and Lion of Nemea.

It has an beautiful ormulu crest and ball and claw feet.

Bargueño hispanoflamenco en madera ebonizada con aplicaciones de carey, S. XVII-XVIII. Se dispone en tres cuerpos verticales; los dos laterales divididos en gavetas y el central en forma de pórtico flanqueado por columnas con la representación de Hércules y el león de Nemea. Aplicaciones de carey y bronce dorado. Remate de barandilla calada y patas de garra sobre bola.
Apoya sobre mesa castellana con patas torneadas y fiadores de hierro.
